Free concert tickets for U Hill families

Dear Parents,

Grace Wood, a fellow U-Hill parents, who is working for Chan Center Performing of Arts has some exciting news for the music fans !

In my professional role at Chan Centre at UBC, I oversee its newly launched family-friendly concert series called “Inspired at the Chan” which is supported by UTown@UBC.    One of our goals with this new series is to increase engagement with young audiences, families, and all other residents on campus.  All concerts in this series are on Sundays at 3pm, only one-hour long with no intermission.

Our first concert is coming up this Sunday, October 2 at 3pm at the Chan Centre featuring David Fung, a fabulous international concert pianist who is also the newest piano faculty at UBC School of Music.  I would love to invite students and their families at U Hill to this concert and provide a promo code to redeem free tickets for the first 100 people (there is a limit of 2 tickets per person).

To redeem free tickets,  please go to:

Inspired at the Chan: Pianist David Fung – Chan Centre  and click on BUY TICKETS.   Enter promo code “INSP-FUNG22”.  If you would like to bring additional children age 12 and under, they are free!

We have some very exciting concerts coming up in this series in the spring, which includes UBC’s Got Talent (featuring talented children and youth at UBC – Yup, this includes the students at U HIll!!) and a Gamelan group concert which includes a hands-on workshop for all ages.  I’ll share that information with you when they become available later in the fall!!

Don’t miss this great opportunity !
